8 April Fool’s Day Pranks to Play at the Office

April Fool’s Day is coming up, and if you have to work that day (we don’t — heehee) here’s an old post I dug up just for you:  8 Great Pranks to Play at the Office (originally published in September last year). Have fun!

1. The Post-It Prank

Who to target: Your boss. Or the most OC person in your office 

What you’ll need: Some friends, a million post-it’s and a lot of free time.

What to do: Cover every possible surface of your victim’s office with post-it notes, and then hide and never admit to anything, even under the threat of torture. 

2. The Passive-Aggressive Door-Holding Game

Who to target: Random strangers in your office building

What you’ll need: A door, an arm and a sick sense of humor

What to do: See illustration above. Close the door just as the panting stranger gets to you. 

3.   The Indiana Jones Booby Trap Trick

Who to target: Your assistant or anyone who’ll shriek in a satisying manner

What you’ll need: The Indiana Jones Room Booby Trap Set

What to do: Set up your booby traps, and call the victim to your office for an important meeting. Laugh hysterically as he/she freaks out when attacked by darts and falling spiders.

4.  The Sex Book Shocker

Who to target: The office perv (or any guy who might pass by)

What you’ll need: The Sex Life Shock Book Prank

What do do:  Set the book out on your desk or anywhere people might see it. When they open it (they won’t be able to resist), they’re in for a real (electric) shock!

5.   The Toilet Monster Prank

Who to target: Those girls who always go to the bathroom together

What you’ll need: The Toilet Monster

What to do: Attach the monster to the inside of the toilet bowl (it has suction cups) and close the lid.  Hang out by the bathroom and wait for the screaming to start.

6.   The Untearable Toilet Paper Prank

Who to target: The regular office poopers (you know who they are)

What you’ll need: Revenge Toilet Paper - the only toilet paper that will not tear!

What to do: Substitute the regular roll of toilet paper with Revenge TP. Wait outside the bathroom door and time your victims.

7.   The Talking Scale Prank

Who to target: Vain and extremely weight-conscious co-workers

What you’ll need: The Fun Weigh 440 Talking Bathroom Scale

What to do:  Just leave it where you you can see and hear it.  (It automatically turns on when someone steps on.) Cackle as it starts to make comments like ‘I think you just broke me!‘, ‘Is someone else on here with you?‘, ‘Eh, eh…I can’t breathe‘, and so on.

8. The Embarrassing Postcard Prank

Who to target: Pretty much anyone you want to embarrass 

What you’ll need: Prank Postcards

What to do: Mail these bright, colorful and shameful postcards to your victim. Have some laughs when the postman comes along by saying “Hey, what’s THAT?” really loud and showing the postcards around.
